What to Expect

This webinar discusses the evolution of 2G to 3G and 4G or LTE mobile backhaul networks from cell site, to the RAN and central office and technologies that are enabling the migration from TDM to IP/MPLS packet based architectures, including Pseudowire Emulation (PWE3). The webinar will examine system architectures and line card solutions that enable OEMs to address the need for service providers to reduce their backhaul CAPEX and OPEX.

About the Presenters

Kevin So is a Product Marketing Manager in the Communications Product Division at PMC-Sierra and is responsible for Wireless Backhaul solutions. Previously, Mr. So held technical sales and R&D positions, including engineering roles with Nortel Networks Optical Components and CDMA divisions.

Liviu Pinchas is a Director of Technical Marketing at Wintegra and is responsible for several market segments including Wireless Backhaul, Fixed Wireless Access and Carrier Ethernet. Liviu's background is in VLSI design and system engineering at Wintegra and Motorola Semiconductors (now Freescale).

  • RealPlayer (version 6 or later, except for version 6.0.9.380) or Windows Media Player (6.4 or later)
