The Tachyon DE4 (PMC-Sierra HPFC-6700 Series) is a high-performance, low-cost, 2-port, 4-Gb Fibre Channel controller. It features a 4-lane native PCI-Express bus enabling full-duplex operation. DE4 is an integrated single chip solution ideal for cost-constrained storage systems used in small and medium-sized business (SMB) environments as well as HBA market opportunities.
