Reiterating its investment in developing the latest technologies and expanding its global reach, PMC-Sierra's Israel office was established in 2006 with the acquisition of “Passave”. The office is located in Herzliya and is home to over 100 employees.

This site's focus on Fiber to the Home (FTTH) has ensured PMC-Sierra's place as the worldwide leader of gigabit EPON solutions for Fiber to the Home broadband access network equipment. PMC-Sierra is the only supplier to support both EPON and GPON standards.
